I drove an FWD SE with the V-6 as a rental. There is a lot of wheel spin even under gentle acceleration from a standing stop in a regular basis. I think that this engine and transmission overwhelms the front tires, stock Continentals. I would only buy this car in 4 Motion for better power distribution. The tires on the FWD are turning into smooth erasers.
